Roamlore is free to read. It is paid for by advertising and by a small commission when you book or buy through some of the links on this site. This page explains exactly how that works and what it does not change.

Affiliate links

Some links on Roamlore are affiliate links. If you click one and make a booking or purchase, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use my link or go directly. Affiliate partners may include hotel booking sites, tour and activity platforms, travel insurance providers, and online retailers.

Affiliate relationships never decide what I recommend. If a place is not worth your time, I say so, whether or not there is a link. Where a guide contains affiliate links, a short note at the top says so.

Advertising

Roamlore displays ads served by third-party advertising networks. Ad slots are clearly labeled “Advertisement.” Advertisers have no say in editorial content, and I do not write guides to suit them. These networks may use cookies to show ads based on your interests; see the Privacy Policy for details and how to opt out.

Sponsored content and free stays

As of the date above, Roamlore has not published any sponsored posts and has not accepted free or discounted stays, tours, or meals in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, the guide in question will say so clearly at the top, and my honest opinion will still be the only thing in it.

Accuracy

Prices, hours, and availability change. I check them before publishing and note the date they were last verified, but always confirm with the provider before you book. Roamlore is not responsible for changes made by third parties. See the Editorial Process page for how guides are researched and kept current.
